Dear Colleagues!

India is a key partner for Russia in the field of trade in agriculturalproducts and food in South Asia.

Our countries have significant prospects for further interaction, including expanding cooperation in the trade of agricultural products. It is worth noting that by the end of 2024, the trade turnover of agricultural products and food between Russia and India increased by 62%, and exceeded 3.6 billion USD.

Russia is a major supplier of vegetable oils and pulses to India. However, we can expand the range of supplied products and open up new avenues for cooperation. To achieve this, it is necessary to maintain and develop mutual dialogue both at the level of government bodies and at the level of business circles.

The business mission of Russian companies exporting to India focuses on strengthening and expanding cooperation between the businesses of the two countries, promoting the further development of agricultural
trade, and food between our countries.

I would like to wish all the participants of the business mission fruitful negotiations and lucrative contracts.
MAKSIM MARKOVICH
DEPUTY MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE
OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Dear Colleagues!

India is one of the largest and fast-growing markets in the world. By the end of 2024, India’s GDP increased by 6.5% and reached 3.9 trillion dollars, and the population size exceeded 1.4 billion people.
Urbanization and middle class growth are changing the consumption structure, stimulating the demand for imported foods.

This situation makes the Indian market interesting not only for conventional Russian suppliers from among producers of oil, fat and grain, but also for many exporters of meat and dairy products,
confectionery, and drinks. All of them are exploring the possibility of entering the Indian market.

Three dozen Russian companies participate in our business mission. The number and profile of the participants attest to the high demand for this format, which allows for establishing direct relations with
Indian food importers. The mindset and qualifications of the business mission’s participants provide grounds for expecting positive outcomes from the negotiations with Indian partners.
